TAROT WORKSHOPS

•  The Individuation Process of the Transgender Individual Through the Lens of the Major Arcana of the Tarot:  A PowerPoint presentation using the archetypes of the tarot to chronicle the individuation process using the metaphor of the hero’s journey, that being, the Major Arcana. 

•  Introduction to the Tarot:  A PowerPoint presentation introducing participants to the 78-card system of the tarot.  It has been said that it takes an afternoon to learn the tarot, but a lifetime to master it. 

•  Embodying the Symbols of the Tarot:  An experiential workshop creating live readings in which the participants take on the roles of the cards in a querent’s reading.  Participants of the workshop have a dialogue from the position of the archetypes of the cards. 

•  The Use of Tarot in Psychotherapy (with clients and patients):  Therapists will learn how to use the tarot with clients/patients.  This workshop will present the process of doing so, including how to introduce the tarot, the risks & benefits of using the tarot and various ways to use the tarot in sessions as a projective tool.
